The Port of Beaumont is the Charter Organization and sponsor of Sea Scout Ship 1916. The Port will cover the cost of registration for eligible students ages 14-21.
The Port of Beaumont coordinates with the Charlton-Pollard Neighborhood association, local industry, and several non-profit organizations to clean the area surround the Port of Beaumont.
The Port of Beaumont partners with the Ivory Bill, an educational river tour, offered to local students and community members.
The Seafarers' Center of Beaumont, located inside Port of Beaumont
gates, serves more than 5,000 mariners per year.
Jefferson County Lemonade Day, hosted by the Greater Beaumont chamber of Commerce, promotes entrepreneurship in Southeast Texas schools.
The Port works with local elementary, middle and high schools on maritime educational efforts, including the Maritime Program now offered by BISD.
